Drop Off or Self-Ship A Collection

We're located in Batavia IL and accept drop off collections by appointment. If you drop off or self ship a collection there's a few things you should know:

Drop Off a Collection

We're located in Batavia Illinois. If you prefer to drop off your collection, simply place a sell order. Once placed, we'll contact you to set up a time to bring in your items. Please note: Due to processing requirements we do not issue payments at drop off. Please allow 5 business days to process & pay.

For some brands, we pay extra for dropped off collections. Keep reading for details.

Self-Ship a Collection

There's a few reasons you may opt for self-shipping.

  • Your collection doesn't qualify for prepaid labels
  • You want to insure your shipment (Prepaid labels do not include insurnace.)

If you opt for self-shipping, place your sell order, but don't ship until you hear from us.

What changes when dropping off or self shipping your collection?

If you'd like to drop off or self ship your collection, you must first create a sell order. Follow all the steps outlined on our How This Works page. Instead of us issuing a shipping label, you'll either make a drop off appointment, or ship your collection yourself.

The best change is that for some brands, we offer a Drop-Off/Self-Ship Bonus. All bonuses are described below. Sorry but if your brand is not listed, there is no Drop-Off/Self-Ship Bonus.

Ty products

You'll get paid more 🥳 We save on shipping costs & you get more money. It's a win/win. Here's the additional amount we can pay per piece. This is in addition to our posted prices.

Barbie

Shipping Barbies is expensive! If you drop off or ship yourself, you'll get paid more 🥳

For full size Barbies we pay an extra $2.00.

We don't pay extra for Kelly and similar sized dolls.

Department 56

Drop off or self-ship and get more for your collection! Our buy prices on Department 56 Buildings are limited by the high cost of shipping. For buildings (not accessories, figurines, or trees) we pay and additional $3 per building.

Disney Stuffed Animals

Here's the good news, if you drop off or self ship your collection of Disney Store Stuffed Animals, we can pay an extra $0.20 per piece 🥳

Waterford

You'll get paid more 🥳 We save on shipping costs & you get more money. It's a win/win.

For glasses & stemware, we pay an extra $1 per glass. For items purchased with Variable pricing, please see the Variable Pricing tab below.

Variable Pricing (Swarovski, Lladró, Baccarat, Lalique & More)

If you self ship or drop off Swarovski, Lladró, Lalique, Baccarat or any other items that we buy through Variable Pricing, we'll add a bonus to your total. The amount we can pay will vary widely by collection. To give you a very rough idea, we can pay up to $20 for a well packed 18x18x24 box.
